Plant scale studies showed that, this innovative equipment enhances breakage at grain boundaries and this cause liberation at coarser sizes. Moreover, it is proven to reach energy efficiency up to 75% compared to conventional comminution techniques.
Practical maintenance, no civils requirement during installation, small foot-print, low weight are other benefits of EDS Multishaft Mill which makes it more favourable for both green field and brown field projects.
The Mill is capable of handling particle feed sizes up to 40mm on hard ores and up to 50mm on softer ores. But generally, a <25mm sized material is best suited. It can be said that ESD Multishaft Mill covers tertiary crushing and primary crushing at one stage.
